Top loading
The petroleum top loading arm is specifically designed to load mineral oil products. It is suitable for the top loading of rail or road tankers using the manhole. The arm is provided with a special loading valve that works according to the “hold open” principle. The automatic closing mechanism improves safety and avoids line shocks.
Types of top loading arms
Emco Wheaton supplies 3 types of loading arm configurations.

for limited working envelopes, where tankers can be positioned accurately |

The loading arm is provided with the robust D2000 swivel joints. Together with the precise balancing mechanism this makes handling of the loading arm very easy.
