The use of swivel joints

Swivel joints make rigid piping constructions flexible and as such combine the integrity of pipes with the flexibility of hoses. This enables an easy and problem-free handling of bulk materials.

Engiflow offers the largest range of swivel joints, from 1½" up to 24" in a variety of materials and seal options. These swivels are applied for the most diverse products. From petroleum to chemicals, from LPG to molasses, from fruit juice to dry bulk pellets. For extremely aggressive products a PTFE lined version is available.

Swivel joint variant - ball swivel joint

A swivel joint can rotate 360˚ around 1 axis. A variant is the ball swivel joint. This swivel act as a ball joint and has the possibility to slew around the rotating axis.
