Safety back rests and gratings

To work safely on top of a rail or road tanker, Emco Wheaton offers a protective system consisting of gratings, back rests and folding stairs.

By using pneumatic or hydraulic controls, the equipment automatically moves down to the required position. An additional automatic switch makes it possible that the equipment stops just before reaching the tanker top.

Can be adapted to suit every sitution

The configuration of the protective system depends on the actual situation on site. It can be adapted to the customer's specific requirements.

The design of the equipment allows the operator to create his own safe working area. Not only in height, but also in length and width, depending on the type and position of the rail or road loading cars.
