Emco Wheaton dry breaks
Emco Wheaton dry break couplers and adaptors are designed for total safety. They are applied in low-pressure, petroleum and light chemical applications. Fluid cannot flow until the coupler has been locked into position on the adapter and the valve opened. The coupler can only be disconnected from the adapter when the valve has been closed. In this way product loss is eliminated during disconnecting.

The dry break couplers and adapters are rated for a working pressure of PN 6 (85 psi). They are available in sizes from 1 up to 3-inch, in a variety of body and seal materials. See table.

EMCO-MATIC coupler
Emco Wheaton has recently introduce the new EMCO-MATIC J71 1-inch coupler. This model features automatic opening and an integrated ball bearing swivel. The J71 will interchange with the J71A version couplers and interface with all J71 adapters in the field.
