API bottom loading

API bottom loading combines the possibility of simultaneously loading of multiple compartments with an automatic high level alarm for each individual compartment.

A typical API bottom loading set-up can include up to 5 liquid arms and 1 vapour arm. The API configuration allows an adequate space between the terminal and tanker side, with unrestricted cross-over possibilities for the loading arms.

API coupler

The API coupler for the liquid arms provides a quick and safe connection to the tanker’s adaptors. Application of this coupler reduces the spillage when disconnecting to a minimum. The vapour arm is equipped with a coupler that allows high transfer rates at the lowest pressure drop. All couplers fully comply to API RP 1004.
